Self Portrait / Computational Object 1 @ FILE Festival, São Paulo

FILE – Electronic Language International Festival
FIESP Cultural Center, São Paulo, Brazil
18 August – 11 October 2026
My video work Self Portrait / Computational Object 1 (2025) has been selected for FILE – Electronic Language International Festival, one of the leading international showcases for electronic and digital art, taking place at the FIESP Cultural Center in São Paulo, Brazil.
The work originates from a photogrammetric self-scan, later re-encoded through AI-generative processing, with a sound composition built from planetary mapping frequencies drawn from NASA data archives. It investigates subjectivity as a computational construct, questioning how contemporary image-production systems reconfigure the ontology of the self.
Self Portrait / Computational Object 1 was previously presented at THE WRONG Biennale and at Feelings Are Always Local, Studio Milesi, Milan (2026). More details on the artwork are available in the Portfolio.
